Rick Ross. Meek
Mill. Wale. Three of the biggest names in the music industry all performing at
one concert. When I first heard of them coming, words can’t describe how
excited I was. The concert was on November 4th and I really wanted
to go but I also knew tickets would be hard to come by. I wasn’t able to go get
tickets the first day they went on sale and figured I wasn’t going to be able
to go just like I couldn’t go to the Wiz Khalifa concert. Well it turned out
tickets didn’t sell out the first day and my friends and I ended up getting
some. They were very good seats too meaning we were going to be on the floor
for my very first concert ever!
When Novemeber 4th
got here, I absolutely could not wait. All day we blasted all of their big hits
like Im a Boss, Ambition and All I Do Is Win to get pumped up. We got to the
concert fairly early because we wanted to get in in plenty of time to see the
opening act, Machine Gun Kelly. Machine Gun Kelly was very good and got the
crowd going for the three men that the Bryce Jordan was packed and ready to go
wild for. They all came out separately and sang some of their songs. However
the best part of the night, was when all three of them came out together. Everyone
went absolutely nuts and started chanting “MMG! MMG! MMG!” They got right into
it and started rocking the whole Bryce Jordan Center. It was by far the best
performance of the night because they sang All I Do Is Win. It seemed like the
BJC was about to explode from everyone jumping up and down and raising their
hands in the air. Everyone in attendance were raising their hands in the air
and singing to the song at the same time; it was one of the coolest things I’ve
ever been a part of and I’ll never forget it.
Before coming to
this concert I had heard that concerts weren’t that good because the music
doesn’t sound that great live. I agree but the atmosphere was so incredible
that I would go to another concert in a heartbeat. It’s so cool being around
thousands of other people who share the same passion for music as you do. And
the fact that mostly everyone there went to Penn State was amazing. Overall, it
was an amazing concert and I would definitely go see them again.
